The Seminar covered several topics including a how a person can determine whether they can afford to retire; choices people have at retirement; the benefits of Social Security; and an overview of UCC benefits plans, including EY Financial Planning Services®, available to actively-contributing members of the Annuity Plan at no cost.
The Seminar was instrumental in challenging participants to take a real look at their financial picture and take the right action steps toward securing their retirement.

Throughout the year, the Pension Boards conducts retirement seminars and webinars for individuals 50 and over and their spouses/partners in the six geographic regions of the United Church of Christ. These seminars and webinars allow participants to take an active role toward financial wellness, while helping maximizing Pension Boards’ benefit plans and programs.
